The amount of features added over the base Quickbooks application is really pitifully small. It basically comes down to a button that combines several bits of inventory into one "assembly" that you can sell together. The problem is that you can't really work with these assemblies in any meaningful way whatsoever. You can't edit them. You can't build in blocks (These 300 bags took 67.5 yards of fabric, etc). Instead, you have to specify exactly how much goes into each and every piece without fail and establish other accounts to account for the over/under.If you google various features of this product, you will find almost nothing but people trying to work around the system that Intuit has set up, often vainly struggling to get any real work done. Oh, and Quicbkooks ads. You will find that too. Because apparently Intuit has tons of money... Too many choices, and not enough details in the QB offerings on Amazon to make that choice along with 'Stock Numbers' that do not tell us much as well.3. When I tried to download the new software, even with exactly following the QB steps, the computer would not save the new software where I saved it, and when I did find it, QB would pop up an Error Box that would not let me continue. 4. So, I called QB CSR. The tech took 1 hr and 20 minutes to find where QB stored itself as a back up file, and then could not set up on operating file location for all of the stored data. I think You need over 400mg ram to get the program in. I upgraded to a 1G and now the computer runs better anyways so it was worth it, but be prepared. i never thought about it. Installation was easy. MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH EMAIL SETUP!!!!!. You can no longer use the QB to email stuff without paying extra which is a pain. I have roadrunner for internet service. I could not get it set up. Talked to QB service And RR service and neither could figure out why and just blamed the other. In the end I had to set up a Gmail account to get an email to work.
